This is a great way to prepare for your postpartum, especially when the urge to nest kicks in at the end. Friends and family can also prepare these and deliver them to the birthing person! They freeze really well too. What do you do to prepare for postpartum?
Lactation muffins can be useful for some people as part of a routine and way to increase milk supply. I must emphasize that if your goal is to increase your supply, you should also chat with a Lactation Consultant. Many LC these days do virtual support as well as in-person. I'm speaking from experience here when I say, supply really may not be your issue, even when exclusively pumping (something I didn't learn until after my third baby)! However, these little muffins are delicious and have ingredients that support healthy postpartum recovery. So it's not a bad idea to give them a try!
